How do Orders Ship? Time Shipped? Large Orders?
Orders received after 10 a.m. Eastern Time usually ship next business day.
Orders over $400 are shipped "signature required" to avoid loss and theft.
We usually use UPS Ground (occasionally USPS or FedEx) for our shipping. We believe the customer or purchaser has the right and should expect that any purchase should be received in good condition and in a timely manner. We will make every attempt to provide purchases in a timely manner. We are not responsible for delays that occur by Acts of God, or other matters out of our control such as backordered inventory, severe weather delays, or transportation problems. To keep shipping costs down and ultimately keep costs down for our customers, we reserve the right to combine orders into one shipment that are going to the same address and for orders over $400 we ship "signature required".
All products are shipped and leave our office IN PERFECT CONDITION, and are not melted or crushed (unless advertised as a Crushed Box item, in which there are no returns). UPS, FedEx, and USPS are responsible for what happens to the products after they leave our office. If you should fail to receive your package, or it has been damaged in any way, please let us know within 48 hours of receipt of your order so that we can begin a claims process for you.
Important Warm Months Shipping Information:
During the warmer months there are increased problems with protein bars melting. We are NOT responsible for the melting of protein bars while in transit. We do place a Protect from Heat label on all our boxes in warmer months, but once your order leaves our premises, the weather and handling and delivery is out of our control.
No returns or credits on protein bars or any product because package contents have been left on your porch or outside in the heat. We suggest having your order shipped to your place of business or to a neighbor's home, or anywhere that it can be taken inside immediately.
If your order containing protein bars has been in the heat for any length of time, unpack your box, and without touching or smashing individual bars, place the boxes in your refrigerator for about an hour. They will re-harden and suffer no loss of nutrition, although they might not be quite as pretty.
What are my choices for Expedited shipping?
Most of our customers receive their order within 1 to 4 days depending on location. Use Shipping Delivery Day Estimate Tool on Shopping cart page to see likely delivery date based on your zip code. We do offer Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or 3 Day Select for extra charge.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, F.P.O. or A.P.O address?
We currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, F.P.O., and A.P.O addresses by US Postal Service only and not by UPS. There is a flat rate of $15.00 regardless of size of order. The $15 for US Postal Service will be added to your order. You will be emailed your tracking number if one is provided by USPS and estimated delivery date. Allow 3 to 5 business days for shipping to most areas including Alaska and Hawaii. Overseas APOs and FPOs may take longer. There are no guarantees by MyDietShopz.com of when you will receive your order.
What do I do if I notice that I've entered the wrong shipping/billing information on my
Notify us right away and we may be able to fix it for you. (we will do our best!) The sooner you let us know the better chance we'll have at correcting it before your order ships. If we don't hear from you before it ships, you may be charged an extra charge for changing the address after your order has shipped. You may be charged any extra fee to cover extra costs charged to us by shipper for changing address or for wrong address. Also, please check your tracking number and make sure someone is home to get your package. You are responsible for extra shipping charges for address corrections or if package is shipped back to us because no one is home and/or no one collects package from Shipper or it is a wrong address. There is no free shipping for orders that have to be reshipped and in that case you will pay the full shipping charge. Also, you will be charged for full shipping charges to and from your address if you do not contact us to reship your order.
Can I place my order and have it arrive on a specific day?
Yes you can with our Shipping Delivery Date Estimate Tool on the Shopping Cart page which lists the delivery date listed by each shipping method which is accurate over 99.5% of the time. But, there are no guarantees by us or by UPS, FedEx or USPS that order will be shipped or arrive on a specific day. Nor are there any discounts or refunds for orders that do not arrive on our by a specific date.
How does ordering over a holiday effect shipping times?
UPS, FedEx, and USPS does not deliver or ship on/over major Holidays like Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving and Friday after Thanksgiving. We will consequently be closed on those days as well. Please plan accordingly when you place your order and when you are deciding to ship Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3 Day Select, or Ground. Please remember that Shippers count Business days only for shipping time.
